HaircareByMon was built on one belief: traditional oiling rituals deserve a place in modern life.

For years, Ayurvedic hair oiling was often misunderstood by younger Singaporeans — seen as something overly traditional, greasy, inconvenient, or “old-fashioned”. Within the Tamil community especially, oiling was deeply familiar, but rarely reintroduced in a way that felt exciting, luxurious, or relevant to modern lifestyles.

HaircareByMon became part of changing that narrative.

Over the years, we’ve proudly become one of Singapore’s most recognised modern Ayurvedic hair oil brands — trusted across generations and deeply supported by the Tamil community that helped shape our journey from the very beginning.

Rather than changing ancient recipes, we focused on changing the experience around them.

We introduced thoughtfully scented oils, modern routines, beautiful packaging, and a softer, more approachable way of reconnecting with oiling rituals — making them easier to integrate into busy schedules, self-care routines, motherhood, wellness, and everyday life.
